Ingredients:
- 9 lasagna noodles
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup basil pesto
- 1 1/2 cups ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 cups marinara sauce
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375F 190C
Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside
In a bowl, mix together cooked chicken and basil pesto
In another bowl, combine ricotta and Parmesan cheese
Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce in the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish
Place 3 lasagna noodles over the sauce
Spread half of the chicken pesto mixture over the noodles
Dollop half of the ricotta cheese mixture over the chicken layer
Sprinkle with 1/3 of the mozzarella cheese
Repeat layers, ending with mozzarella cheese on top
Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes
Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and lightly browned
Let it cool for a few minutes before serving
